LUME Hub Management app: tasks, daily checklist, finances, quotes and deliverables

Updated

Quick answer

Management is the LUME Hub app for running the business day to day: Tasks, a Daily checklist with a task timer, Finance (cash, bank statements, contracts, receivables and payables), Quotes that clients approve through a link, and your mentoring Deliverables. Open it from the app launcher at the top of the dashboard; it shows only the screens your plan includes.

Management is the LUME Hub app for the inside of your business: what needs to get done, how long each thing took, how much money came in and went out, who owes you, and which quotes are waiting for an answer. This guide covers what's in the app, how to open it and where to start.

A note on language: the menu and app names are in English, but the screens inside these tools are still in Portuguese. In these articles, each on-screen label appears in Portuguese with its meaning in English.

Who the Management app is for

Management is built for small service businesses: consultants, agencies, video production companies, mentors and freelancers who today split their admin work between spreadsheets, notes and WhatsApp. Tasks, the workday and the money live in the same account where you already handle content and sales.

What's in the Management app

Each screen covers one part of the routine. Which ones you see depends on your plan.

How to open the Management app

  1. Sign in to LUME Hub.
  2. At the top of the dashboard, click the app launcher (the nine dots).
  3. Choose Management ("Tasks, money and deliverables").

The Management home page shows what needs your attention in the app (for example, overdue tasks), its key numbers, the screens you opened last and every screen your plan includes. The side menu then lists only Management screens.

Where to start

If this is your first time, follow this order. One afternoon is enough to get the basics in place:

  1. Add your bank accounts and clients in Finance, on the Contas (Accounts) and Clientes (Clients) tabs.
  2. Set up contracts for clients who pay every month. The charges are created for you. See how to set up recurring client contracts.
  3. Import your bank statement instead of typing every transaction. See how to import an OFX bank statement.
  4. Plan your day in the Daily checklist and time the tasks you want to measure.
  5. Follow up on late payers on the A receber (Receivables) tab and send reminders through WhatsApp. See how to track accounts receivable.

Tasks or daily checklist?

Both screens are about what to do, with a different focus:

  • Tasks is your account's list: action items from your plan, follow-ups and anything you add from the side panel. Each task has a status, priority, due date and points.
  • Daily checklist is your workday: tasks grouped in blocks, classified (productive, operational, could be delegated or distraction), timed, and closed with a productivity score.

Use the checklist to see where your time goes. Use Tasks so nothing slips. Many people use both.

Finance on one screen

Finance has nine tabs: Overview, Result, Cash, Statements, Accounts, Clients, Contracts, Receivables and Payables (on screen: Visão geral, Resultado, Caixa, Extratos, Contas, Clientes, Contratos, A receber and A pagar). Four numbers for the selected month sit at the top: month balance, due this month, received this month and overdue. The month picker next to the title changes the period for every tab.

Cash shows the money that actually moved; Result shows the month on an accrual basis (the month the work belongs to). If that difference is new to you, read what is cash flow.

Quotes and deliverables

On production company accounts, Quotes builds each quote from the hourly rate of each team role and the hourly cost of each piece of equipment. The client gets a link, sees the line items and total, and accepts right there, with no login.

Deliverables is your mentoring library: the overview, full diagnosis, 90-day roadmap and pillar plans show up there once your mentor releases them. The rest of the mentoring journey is covered in the Mentoring section.

When something doesn't work

The most common issues already have answers:

To find, reach out to and close clients before they ever reach Finance, see the Sales app.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Management app sold separately?

No. It groups the management screens your LUME Hub plan includes. If a screen is missing from the menu, it is not part of your plan or account type.

Why don't I see Quotes?

Quotes only shows up for production company accounts (LUME Hub Produtoras) that include Finance. Other accounts don't have that screen in the Management menu.

Does Finance issue invoices or tax receipts?

No. Finance tracks cash, bank statements, contracts, receivables, payables and the monthly result. Official invoices are still issued in your city's or accountant's system.

Are the Finance screens in English?

The app menu is in English, but the screens inside Tasks, Daily checklist, Finance, Quotes and Deliverables are still in Portuguese, and amounts are in Brazilian reais (R$). These articles give each on-screen label with its English meaning.
