How to create and track tasks in LUME Hub
Updated
Quick answer
To create a task in LUME Hub, click the side panel button at the top right of the dashboard, type in the new task field and click the create button. To track tasks, open Management > Tasks: filter by status or pillar, search, and click the circle next to a task to complete it and earn points.
In LUME Hub, tasks live in two places: the side panel, to jot down and complete tasks without leaving the screen you're on, and the Tasks screen in the Management app, to see the full list, filter it and track progress. This tutorial covers both.
The menu is in English, but the labels inside these screens are still in Portuguese; below, each one appears in Portuguese with its meaning.
Step by step
- On any dashboard screen, click the side panel button at the top right, next to the notification bell. Its tooltip reads "Tarefas, agenda e a assistente" (Tasks, calendar and the assistant).
- The panel opens on the Tarefas (Tasks) tab with your pending tasks, soonest due date first.
- Type the task in the "Nova tarefa (@ para mencionar)" field (New task, @ to mention). If it's about a lead or a client, type @ and pick the name.
- Click "Criar" (Create). The task shows up in the list right away.
- To complete it, click the circle next to the task in the panel.
- To see everything, click "Abrir Tarefas" (Open Tasks) at the bottom of the panel, or open the Management app from the app launcher and choose Tasks.
How to track tasks on the Tasks screen
The Tasks screen, described as "Ações do seu plano estratégico" (Action items from your strategic plan), lists every task in the account. A bar at the top shows your progress: total points earned and how many tasks are done out of the total.
To find what matters:
- Status tabs: Todas (All), Pendentes (Pending), Em progresso (In progress) and Concluídas (Done).
- Pillar filter: "Todos os pilares" (All pillars) or one pillar of your plan.
- Search: the "Buscar por título ou descrição…" field (search by title or description).
Open tasks come before completed ones and, among them, higher priority first. Priority shows as an icon: a flame for high, a star for medium and a circle for low. Tasks with a due date show "Prazo:" and the date. Mission-type tasks have a lightning bolt next to the title.
How to complete a task and earn points
Click the circle to the left of the task. It's marked as done, a notice shows the points earned and the bar at the top updates. Clicked by mistake? Click again and the task goes back to pending.
Where the tasks in the list come from
The list combines the tasks you create from the side panel and the action items of your strategic plan, which come in through your mentoring. To learn about the plan and its pillars, see the Mentoring section.
Task or daily checklist?
Use Tasks for anything that can't be forgotten, with or without a due date. Use the Daily checklist to plan your day in blocks and time each item: see how to use the daily checklist with a task timer. For the big picture, read the Management app guide.
Frequently asked questions
How do I undo a task I completed by mistake?
On the Tasks screen, click the green circle again. The task goes back to pending and no longer counts as completed.
What are the points for?
Each task is worth a number of points. When you complete it, a notice shows the points earned and the total at the top of the Tasks screen goes up. It's a quick way to see your plan moving.
Can I mention someone in a task?
Yes. In the new task field, type @ and pick from the list. A mention links the task to a lead from Social Selling or to a client in your account.
Where do I see tasks with due dates?
On the Tasks screen, each one shows “Prazo:” (due) with the date. In the side panel, the Agenda tab lists upcoming due dates alongside your other appointments.
