How to post on Threads from your computer with LUME Hub (and schedule posts)
Updated
Quick answer
To post on Threads from your computer with LUME Hub, open Presence → Threads and click “Conectar Threads” (Connect Threads). Under “Novo post” (New post), pick text or image, write up to 500 characters, add a link preview or an image, choose publish now or schedule, then click “Publicar no Threads” or “Agendar no Threads”.
The Threads screen in the Presence app publishes and schedules posts on your Threads profile from your computer, no phone needed. The post goes out on Threads only, not to your Instagram feed. Threads is part of the Growth and Complete plans.
This screen currently shows its labels in Portuguese, even with the app in English. Each label is quoted as it appears, followed by its meaning.
Connect Threads
- Open Presence → Threads.
- Click "Conectar Threads" (Connect Threads). The screen explains that you sign in with your Threads account and authorize LUME Hub to post, search and read mentions, and nothing goes out unless you send it.
- Sign in and approve.
The connection lasts 60 days, and LUME Hub renews it automatically. You don't need to come back to reconnect.
Step by step: post on Threads
- If your Editorial calendar has Threads posts planned, they appear under "Pautas do Threads no calendário" (Threads posts in the calendar). Click one to bring in its text.
- Under "Novo post" (New post), pick "Texto" (Text) or "Imagem" (Image).
- Write your text, up to 500 characters. For image posts, text is optional.
- For a text post, you can paste a URL in "Link com prévia (opcional)" (Link with preview, optional). For an image post, click "Escolher imagem" (Choose image) and upload a JPG or PNG up to 8 MB.
- Choose "Publicar agora" (Publish now) or "Agendar" (Schedule), with a date and time.
- Click "Publicar no Threads" (Publish on Threads) or "Agendar no Threads" (Schedule on Threads).
Track your posts
The "Posts" section shows what's scheduled, what's out and what failed, and it refreshes itself every minute. It works just like the LinkedIn one: filters for scheduled, failed, published and canceled, and actions to publish now, change the time, cancel or try again. The queue is explained step by step in how to schedule LinkedIn posts.
Find clients on Threads
The same connection powers Threads Radar, which lives in the Sales app. It saves keyword or topic searches, gathers mentions and replies to your posts, and lets you reply, get a suggested reply and turn the person into a lead. The robot runs every hour, and each search runs every 3 hours.
More about the radar and social selling is in the Sales section. For the other Presence screens, read the Presence app guide.
