How to send social media content for client approval in LUME Hub
Updated
Quick answer
To send a script for approval in LUME Hub, the agency opens the client's dashboard, goes to the Editorial calendar, opens the post and clicks Editar roteiro (edit script). In the script approval block, add an optional note and click Enviar para aprovação (send for approval). The client is notified and replies on the Approvals screen.
This tutorial is for production agencies that manage clients' content in LUME Hub. Each post's script can go to the client for approval before shooting, with a note and a conversation kept on the post itself.
Before you start
- The client must be in your client list in the Console and have the Editorial calendar enabled.
- The post must exist and have a script. See How to write a Reels script.
- Sending only appears when you work in the client's dashboard. On your own calendar the block does not show.
Step by step
- In the Console, open your client list, open the client and click Abrir painel do cliente (open client dashboard).
- In the Content app, open the Editorial calendar, click the post and then Editar roteiro (edit script).
- Review the script and click Salvar alterações (save changes) if you changed anything. Sending uses the saved version.
- Open the post again with Editar roteiro and scroll to the Aprovação do roteiro (script approval) block.
- Optionally write a note in the Recado para o cliente field, up to 500 characters.
- Click Enviar para aprovação (send for approval). The Hub confirms the script was sent to the client.
What happens after you send it?
The script status becomes Esperando o cliente (waiting for the client), the post moves from script pending to script ready and the client becomes responsible. They get a notification in their dashboard and reply on the Approvals screen, as shown in How to approve content as a client.
| Client's reply | Script status | Post stage | Your notification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Approve script | Approved | Waiting to record | Script approved |
| Request changes | Changes requested | Script pending | Script changes |
How to resend after changes
Read the client's request in the post conversation, fix the script and save. In the script approval block the button becomes Reenviar para aprovação (resend for approval). Click it and the cycle starts again.
Where can I track every approval?
The Production board shows, under Entregas do mês (this month's deliveries), how many scripts each client has to approve and how many posts are with them. In the Minha fila (my queue) tab, each post shows when the script is with the client.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see the script approval block?
It only shows when you are working in a client's dashboard, not your own, and the post already exists. Save the post first and open it from the client's dashboard.
Does the client need to log in to approve?
Yes. The client approves inside LUME Hub, on the Approvals screen of their account. There is no public approval link for scripts.
What happens when the client approves?
The script is marked as approved, the post moves to waiting to record and the agency is responsible again. You get a notification that the script was approved.
Can I resend it after changes?
Yes. When the client requests changes, the post goes back to script pending. Fix it, save and click Reenviar para aprovação (resend for approval).
