How to write a Reels script in LUME Hub (with AI rewrites)
Updated
Quick answer
To write a Reels script in LUME Hub, open the post in the Editorial calendar, click Editar roteiro (edit script) and choose the Reels / Vídeo format. Write the hook for the first 3 seconds and the script, fill in set, music, CTA and caption, use Ajustar com IA (adjust with AI) if you like, and save.
A good Reel starts with the script: a hook that stops the scroll in the first seconds, the talking points in order and a call to action at the end. In LUME Hub, the script lives inside each post on the Editorial calendar, and the Ajustar com IA (adjust with AI) button helps you polish it.
Step by step
- In the Content app, open the Editorial calendar, click the post and then Editar roteiro (edit script), or create one with Novo roteiro (new script).
- Under Formato (format), choose Reels / Vídeo.
- Write the Gancho (hook for the first 3 seconds): the line that makes people stop scrolling.
- In the Roteiro & Copy block, fill in the estimated length and the Roteiro (script). Add the set idea, outfit suggestion, suggested music and notes if useful.
- To polish the text, click Ajustar com IA and pick an option. Read the result and click Usar este roteiro (use this script) or Descartar (discard).
- Write the CTA, the Legenda do post (caption) and the Hashtags, set the script Status (pending, in production, ready or approved) and click Salvar alterações (save changes).
What does the AI rewrite do?
Ajustar com IA rewrites the script you already wrote, and the original stays until you accept the new one. The options are:
- Melhorar o texto: makes the script clearer and smoother.
- Encurtar: trims it down, useful for shorter videos.
- Gancho mais forte: strengthens the opening hook.
- Chamada para ação: makes the closing call to action clearer.
- Tom mais leve: gives it a lighter, more casual tone.
- Pedido livre…: a free request. Type what you want changed and click Pedir (ask).
After you accept, the Hub confirms the script was replaced and reminds you to save.
Which script structure should I use?
The Formats screen has the LUME method's script structures: Estrutura LUME (AIDA), Identificação + História (relatable story) and Antes e Depois (before and after). Pick one structure per video and pair it with a format such as split screen or behind the scenes. See How to choose a viral reel format.
What happens after the script?
Once saved, the script shows up in the Execution kit, ready to copy while you record. If you work with a production agency, the script can go through client approval before shooting: see How to send content for client approval.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI button write the script from scratch?
No. It improves a script you have already written. If the field is empty, the Hub asks you to write the script before requesting an adjustment.
Is the AI-adjusted script saved right away?
Only after you save. When you accept the new version, the text is replaced in the form and the Hub reminds you to save the content to keep it.
Does the AI button work for carousels?
No. The button appears on Reels / Vídeo scripts. Carousel and static posts have their own fields without the AI adjustment.
Where do I see the script while recording?
In the Execution kit. It shows the script with a button to copy the whole script, plus the set, music, caption and hashtags.
