What is the LUME Hub Content app and how does it work?

Updated

Quick answer

Content is the LUME Hub app for planning, producing and approving posts and videos. It brings together the Editorial calendar, Approvals, the Production board, the Execution kit, Formats, CAPI AI and Videos. You plan posts on the calendar, write each script and track every stage until the post goes live.

The LUME Hub Content app puts everything from idea to published post in one place: the monthly plan, the script for each post, client approval, videos and publishing. This guide explains who it is for, what each screen does and where to start.

Who is the Content app for?

Content serves three kinds of people:

  • Solo creators: business owners and professionals who plan and record their own posts and Reels.
  • Production agencies: teams that build the calendar, write scripts and shoot for several clients.
  • Agency clients: people who only need to approve scripts and videos without touching the rest.

Each person sees the screens their plan and role unlock. A screen with a lock in the menu belongs to another plan.

What screens does the Content app have?

Open the app launcher (the nine dots at the top) and choose Content. The app menu shows these screens:

ScreenWhat it does
OverviewThe app home: what needs you and shortcuts to every screen.
Editorial calendarThe month's posts by day or as a list, with format, pillar and production stage.
ApprovalsClients approve scripts, request changes and see videos waiting for them.
Production boardFor agencies: each person's queue and each client's deliveries for the month.
Execution kitThe library of scripts, captions and CTAs ready to record.
FormatsThe guide to the LUME method's viral content formats.
CAPI AIAI designs and carousels, ready to download or schedule on Instagram.
VideosEach video's versions in Google Drive, client approval and Reels scheduling.
IdeasThe Idea Bank, for saving text, audio, links and images.

When an app has more screens than fit in the menu, the rest sit under Mais telas (more screens).

How to get started with Content

  1. Build the calendar. In the Editorial calendar, click Novo roteiro (new script) and create your first post with a title, date, platform and format. See How to create a content calendar.
  2. Write the script. Each post stores the hook, script, caption, CTA and hashtags. See How to add and edit posts in the content calendar and How to write a Reels script.
  3. Pick a format. Formats shows script structures and proven video formats: How to choose a viral reel format.
  4. Shoot with the kit. The Execution kit gathers everything you need on set: How to use the execution kit.
  5. Get client approval. The agency sends the script and the video to the client. See How to send content for client approval, How to approve content as a client, How to send a video for client approval and How to approve a video or request changes.
  6. Publish. CAPI AI designs and Reels from the Videos screen can be scheduled on Instagram: How to schedule Instagram posts and Reels.

How does a post move from idea to publishing?

Every post has a production stage (Etapa de produção) that shows where it is: script pending, script ready, waiting to record, waiting to edit, edit ready, published and scheduled. The calendar also flags each post by date: planned, coming up (within 3 days), late, no date, published or canceled.

When a Reels scheduled from Videos, or a CAPI AI design linked to a post, goes live on Instagram, the post is marked as published automatically. The same happens with Threads posts published through the Hub.

What about client approval?

LUME Hub approval has two parts: the script (before shooting) and the video (after editing). The client approves or requests changes with a comment, and the agency gets a notification in the dashboard. See the full picture in What is a content approval workflow.

Where do I connect my social accounts?

Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn and YouTube connections live in the Presence app. See the Presence articles. If a scheduled post did not go out, start with Why didn't my scheduled Instagram post publish?.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes the Content app?

The Editorial calendar, Approvals, the Execution kit, Formats and Videos are included from the Essential plan up. CAPI AI, which creates designs with AI, starts on the Growth plan.

Does the calendar post to Instagram by itself?

Not directly. The calendar organizes your posts. Automatic Instagram publishing comes from CAPI AI (designs and carousels) and from the Videos screen (Reels). Threads posts on the calendar have a shortcut to publish or schedule them on Threads.

Who can create posts on the calendar?

Anyone whose own plan or free trial includes the calendar, and the production agency that manages the account. If your calendar is built by the team that works with you, you can see the posts but the new script button does not show.

Where do I see what is waiting for me?

On the app's home page, in the Needs you card, and on the Approvals screen. Scripts and videos waiting for your approval show up there.
