How to add, edit and reschedule posts in your content calendar
Updated
Quick answer
To edit a post in the LUME Hub content calendar, click the post and then Editar roteiro (edit script). Change the title, date, platform, format, script, caption, CTA or hashtags and click Salvar alterações (save changes). The production stage and publishing status change right in the post window.
Every post in the Editorial calendar holds everything it needs: title, date, platform, format, hook, script, caption, CTA and hashtags. This tutorial shows how to add, edit, reschedule, move through production stages and delete a post.
Step by step
- In the Content app, open the Editorial calendar and click Novo roteiro (new script) to add a post, or click an existing post (in the grid, or Ver detalhes → in the list).
- In the post window, click Editar roteiro (edit script). The edit form opens with the current data.
- Change what you need: Título do conteúdo (title), Data e hora da publicação (date and time), Plataforma (platform), Formato (format), Pilar (pillar), Gancho (hook for the first 3 seconds) and the optional reference link.
- In the Roteiro & Copy block, write the content for the chosen format and fill in CTA, Legenda do post (caption) and Hashtags (separated by spaces).
- Click Salvar alterações (save changes). The Hub confirms the script was updated.
- To change the stage, open the post and use Etapa de produção (production stage) and Status da publicação (publishing status). These save instantly.
How to reschedule a post to another day
The Editorial calendar has no drag and drop. To change the day, open the post, click Editar roteiro, change the date and time and save. The post moves in the grid. If you clear the date, it goes to the Aguardando agendamento (waiting to be scheduled) strip.
What changes with each format?
The Roteiro & Copy block adapts to the format:
| Format | Fields |
|---|---|
| Reels / Vídeo | Estimated length, script, set idea, outfit suggestion, suggested soundtrack, notes |
| Carrossel (carousel) | Carousel pages (add one with the Página button) |
| Estático (static) | Text on the design, visual elements |
Every format has CTA, caption and hashtags. Reels also get the Ajustar com IA (adjust with AI) button, explained in How to write a Reels script.
What are the production stages?
Etapa de produção has 7 positions with a progress bar: script pending, script ready, waiting to record, waiting to edit, edit ready, published and scheduled. Status da publicação is separate: planned, published or canceled. At the bottom of the post, Marcar como concluído marks the post as done.
How to delete a post
Open the post, click Editar roteiro and then Excluir (delete). Confirm the prompt. The Hub tells you the content was deleted.
Once a post is ready, it shows in the Execution kit for shooting. To plan the whole month, see How to create a content calendar.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing the date on the calendar schedule the post on Instagram?
No. The calendar date is the plan. Instagram scheduling happens in CAPI AI or on the Videos screen. Threads posts have a shortcut to publish or schedule them on Threads.
Can I attach the image or video to a calendar post?
The calendar form stores text: script, caption, CTA, hashtags and a reference link. The video is linked to the post from the Videos screen, and designs are made in CAPI AI from the script.
Can I undo deleting a post?
No. When you click Excluir (delete), the Hub asks you to confirm, and once confirmed the post is removed from the calendar.
What is the difference between publishing status and production stage?
Publishing status says whether the post is planned, published or canceled. Production stage says where the work is, from script pending to scheduled, on a 7-step bar.
