How to use the LUME Hub app launcher and search

Updated

Quick answer

In LUME Hub, the app launcher is the nine-dot button at the top: it opens your list of apps from any screen. Search sits next to it and also opens with Ctrl+K on Windows or ⌘K on Mac. Type the name of an app, a screen, a task, a lead or a post to jump straight to it.

LUME Hub is a set of apps, like Google's. Two buttons at the top take you anywhere: the launcher (the nine dots) and search. This tutorial shows how to use both and how the menu inside each app works.

The app launcher

The launcher is the nine-dot button at the top of the dashboard (its name is Apps). Clicking it opens a grid with:

  • Início (Home), which always takes you back to the home page;
  • the apps your account has, such as Content, Presence, Sales, Results, Management, Boards, Files and Account;
  • under Também com a sua conta (Also with your account), apps outside LUME Hub that use the same account, such as LUME Land and LAWD. They open in a new tab, already signed in.

The launcher and the side menu still show Portuguese names even when the app is set to English, so you'll see labels like Conteúdo (Content) and Vendas (Sales). If you picked a goal and turned on Arrange apps by this goal, the apps on that path come first.

Step by step

  1. To switch apps, click the nine dots at the top, then click the app you want.
  2. To search, click Buscar no painel (Search the dashboard) at the top, or press Ctrl+K on Windows (⌘K on Mac). On a phone, tap the magnifying glass.
  3. Type at least two letters: the name of an app, a screen, a task, a lead or a post title.
  4. Pick a result with your mouse or the arrow keys and press Enter. If you see Nada com esse nome. (Nothing with that name), try another word.
  5. Inside an app, use the side menu to move between its screens. To go back to the start, click Início (Home).

How the menu inside each app works

When you open an app, the side menu shows only that app's screens. When an app has many screens, the main ones appear first and the rest sit under Mais telas (More screens), collapsed. Each app also has its own home page with what needs you there, this week's numbers and all of its screens.

Screens your plan doesn't include show a lock. See Why is an app locked in LUME Hub?

Recently opened screens

Before you type anything, search shows Abertas há pouco (Recently opened): the last screens you visited on this device. Home shows the same list under Pick up where you left off, as explained in What you see on the LUME Hub home page.

To learn each app in depth, open its section in the Help Center, such as Content or Sales.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't an app show up in the launcher?

The launcher only lists apps your account can open. If your plan doesn't include an app, it won't appear, or it shows with a lock in the menu.

What's under Também com a sua conta?

That section (Also with your account) lists apps outside LUME Hub that use the same account, such as LUME Land and LAWD. They open in a new tab, already signed in.

Does search look inside every screen?

It finds apps, screens, tasks, leads and calendar posts by name. For data inside a screen, open that screen and use its filters.

Where is search on my phone?

On a phone, tap the magnifying glass at the top and type the name of the screen or app you're looking for.
