How to set up LUME Hub on your first visit

On your first visit to LUME Hub, take the quick tour and follow the Start here card on Home: set your main goal, set up your business in My profile with your company and industry, connect a channel such as Instagram, and take your first recommended action. There are five items, and you can skip the ones that don't fit.
The first time you sign in, LUME Hub invites you to a quick tour and shows the Start here card on Home, with five steps to get your account ready. This tutorial walks through that path from start to finish.
The welcome tour
As soon as you sign in for the first time, the First visit window appears with Welcome to LUME Hub. You have two options:
- Take a quick tour: in under 2 minutes, the tour shows your free trial, the apps, the launcher, search, the side panel with tasks and calendar, Home and the Help button.
- Explore on my own: closes the window and leaves everything open.
At the end of the tour, the Set my goal button takes you straight to choosing your goal.
Step by step
- Take the tour (or click Explore on my own). When you finish, the Get to know LUME Hub item is checked off.
- Under Set your main goal, click Set and pick one option: Get more clients, Sell more, Create content consistently, Organize my business, Improve my online presence or Explore the platform. If you like, turn on Arrange apps by this goal to move that path's apps to the front of the launcher.
- Under Set up your business, click Set up. LUME Hub opens My profile: fill in Company / Role, choose your Industry, then click Save.
- Under Connect a channel, if it makes sense, click Connect to link Instagram, Google, LinkedIn or Threads, depending on your plan. If you don't use social media right now, click Not now.
- Under Take your first recommended action, click Start with followed by the screen suggested for your goal.
When all five items are done, the card shows All set.
Tips for your first few days
- Connecting Instagram requires a professional account (Creator or Business). See How to connect your social media accounts to LUME Hub.

- You can close the card with the X: the tour and your goal stay in the Help (?) button. See How to retake the tour and get help in LUME Hub.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to take the tour?
No. Click Explore on my own and the whole dashboard stays open. The tour remains available from the Help (?) button at the top.
Can I change my goal later?
Yes. Open the Help (?) button and click Change my goal. The rest of the dashboard stays open no matter which goal you pick.
The Start here card disappeared. How do I bring it back?
In the Help (?) button, click Show Start here on Home. The option appears for new accounts that closed the card.
Why fill in my industry?
Your company name and industry help the AI get the tone right. With the Law industry, for example, the dashboard turns on its legal communication mode.
