How to white-label your client dashboard: logo, brand colors, theme and naming

Updated

Quick answer

Open Marca e site (Brand and site) in the Console. Under Marca, enter your product name, upload your logo for dark backgrounds, pick the accent color and the dark or light theme, and check the preview. Under Vocabulário, rename how clients are called. Click Salvar (Save) and reload the page to see the menu with your brand.

The Marca e site (Brand and site) screen is where you make the dashboard look like your company. It's what people in your portfolio see when they sign in: the name, logo, color, theme and even what you call your clients. Any blank field uses LUME's default.

The screen is shown in Portuguese; each label below appears exactly as on screen, with a translation in parentheses.

Before you start

  • Custom branding is part of the white-label plans. Without one, the screen shows a note asking you to contact LUME.
  • If you can, have your logo in two files: one for dark backgrounds and one for light backgrounds.
  • Your brand's address (a subdomain or your own domain) is set up separately. See how to use a custom domain for your client dashboard.

Step by step

  1. Open the Console from the nine-dot button and go to Marca e site (or use the shortcut on the Overview).
  2. Under Tipo de painel (Dashboard type), pick what fits your work: Mentoria e consultoria (mentoring and consulting), Mentoria para barbearias (barbershop mentoring) or Produtora de conteúdo (content production).
  3. In the Marca (Brand) section, fill in Nome do produto (Product name). It shows at the top of the menu when there's no logo.
  4. Under Logo (fundo escuro) (Logo for dark backgrounds), upload the file (up to 5 MB) or paste the image link. The logo takes priority over the name.
  5. Under Cor de destaque (Accent color), pick your brand color. To undo it, use Voltar ao padrão (Back to default).
  6. Choose the Tema (Theme): Escuro (dark, a black background like LUME Hub) or Claro (light, a white background for brands with a light website). With the light theme, also upload the Logo para fundo claro (logo for light backgrounds).
  7. Optionally, add a Favicon (the browser tab icon, PNG or ICO) and your brand's Descrição (description).
  8. Check the Prévia (Preview), which shows the menu block with your logo and accent button.
  9. Click Salvar (Save) at the top or Salvar marca (Save brand) in the bottom bar, then reload the page to see the menu with your brand.

What to call your clients

In the Vocabulário (Vocabulary) section, you rename the people you work with, for example Mentees or Students. The fields cover the menu and page title, the word used mid-sentence, the create button, the sign-up action, the empty-list texts and the section description. Blank fields use the default shown in the field. Vocabulary is saved together with the brand.

Module showcase and home page

Further down the same screen are two sections with their own save buttons:

  • Vitrine de módulos extras (Extra module showcase): modules your clients see with a lock in the menu, with the link and button text to buy them (a Brazilian WhatsApp number with area code turns into a link on its own).
  • Página inicial (Home page): what opens at your brand's address before sign-in. Turn on the simple template (title, subtitle, about, cards and buttons) or pick a page built in the visual editor. It only shows once your brand has a subdomain or domain.

To understand the idea behind custom branding, read what is white label software. The rest of the Console is in the Console guide.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I leave a field blank?

A blank field uses LUME's default. Without a logo, the top of the menu shows your product name; without a color, LUME Hub's default color applies.

What's the maximum logo size?

A logo uploaded from the screen can be up to 5 MB. You can also paste the link to an image that's already online.

I changed my brand but the menu didn't change. Why?

The new brand appears after the page reloads. After saving, refresh your browser to see the menu with your new logo and color.

Why does the screen say branding isn't part of my plan?

Custom branding comes with the white-label plans. Without one, the Marca e site screen shows a note asking you to contact LUME to enable it.

What is the Tipo de painel setting for?

It changes the menu and the first step for people who sign in under your brand: mentoring and consulting, barbershop mentoring, or content production. Unlocked modules stay the same.
