How to complete the business assessment in LUME Mentoring

Updated

Quick answer

Open Diagnostic, click Iniciar Novo Diagnóstico and rate each question from 1 to 5, adding notes if you like. Every answer saves instantly. Once all are answered, click Concluir Diagnóstico: each pillar gets a score and a zone, and your mentor gets the deliverables to review and release.

The business assessment is the first step in LUME Mentoring. It rates your business pillar by pillar and shows where your priorities are. Everything that follows in the program, from deliverables to tasks, builds on it.

What is the business assessment?

It's a questionnaire split into strategic business pillars. For each question, you give a rating from 1 to 5 based on the criteria shown right below it. The Diagnóstico Empresarial (business assessment) start page shows how many pillars and questions your questionnaire has and estimates about two hours to answer. You don't have to do it all at once.

Labels inside this screen are in Portuguese, so each one is shown here as it appears, with a translation.

Step by step

  1. In the Mentorship app, open Diagnostic. Review the pillars listed on the screen.
  2. Click Iniciar Novo Diagnóstico (Start new assessment). The questionnaire opens on the first question.
  3. Read the question and its criteria, then click a rating from 1 to 5. Your answer saves right away.
  4. To explain an answer, type in Observações (opcional) (Notes, optional). Some questions ask for that detail in writing.
  5. Move on with Próxima (Next) and go back with Anterior (Previous). The pillar bar at the top shows how many questions you've answered in each pillar; click a pillar to jump to it.
  6. When you finish a pillar, the screen introduces the Próximo pilar (next pillar). Click Continuar (Continue).
  7. On the last question, click Concluir Diagnóstico (Finish assessment). It only works once every question is answered; the screen tells you how many are left.

If you stop midway, go back to Diagnostic: the Diagnóstico em andamento (assessment in progress) card has a Continuar button that opens the first unanswered question.

What you see when you finish

The Diagnóstico Concluído (assessment complete) screen shows your Score Geral (overall score) and each pillar's score with its zone:

ZoneWhat it means
Ação ImediataThe pillar needs action now
Planejar no CicloThe pillar goes into this cycle's plan
Manter / MonitorarThe pillar only needs monitoring

Back on the Diagnostic screen, the Prioridades do diagnóstico (assessment priorities) block highlights the pillars to focus on next. Diagnósticos Anteriores (past assessments) lists completed ones with the date and overall score.

The deliverables the assessment creates

When you finish, the Hub sets up your mentoring deliverables: Panorama Geral (overview), Diagnóstico Completo (full assessment), Roadmap 90 Dias (90-day roadmap) and an action plan for each pillar. AI writes the draft, and your mentor reviews and releases each one. Released deliverables appear on the Deliverables screen in the Management app: see the Management section.

Retaking the assessment

Once it's done, the screen says only your mentor can release a new round. If a new pillar is added to the questionnaire, you'll see Complete o novo pilar do diagnóstico (complete the new pillar) with a Responder complemento (answer add-on) button, and you answer only what's missing.

Next up is the brief: see how to fill out the brand brief. For the full picture, read the LUME Mentoring app guide.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to finish the assessment in one sitting?

No. Each rating saves the moment you click it. When you come back, the Continuar (Continue) button opens the questionnaire at the first unanswered question.

Can I retake the assessment after finishing it?

Only through your mentor. Once it's done, the screen says only your mentor can release a new round. Past assessments stay in the history.

What does each pillar zone mean?

Ação Imediata means act now, Planejar no Ciclo means it goes into this cycle's plan, and Manter / Monitorar means it only needs monitoring.

When do the deliverables show up for me?

After your mentor reviews and releases them. When you finish, AI drafts them; once released, they appear on the Deliverables screen in the Management app.

What is the assessment add-on?

When a new pillar is added to the questionnaire, the screen shows Complete o novo pilar do diagnóstico. You answer just that pillar under Responder complemento, and your earlier assessment still counts.
