How to do your weekly mentoring check-in in LUME Hub

Updated

Quick answer

Open Check-ins in the Mentorship app and click Novo Check-in. Pick how your week went, from Difícil (tough) to Incrível (amazing), add notes if you like and click Registrar Check-in. The Hub counts your finished tasks on its own, and the check-in joins the list with past ones below.

The weekly check-in is a quick way to log how your mentoring week went. In under a minute, you say how you felt and what happened, and the Hub adds the count of tasks you finished.

What is the weekly check-in?

It's a log with three pieces of information: your mood for the week on a five-option scale, your notes and the number of tasks you finished. The Check-ins screen sums it up as "Registre seu progresso semanal" (log your weekly progress). With one check-in a week, you and the team can see the rhythm of your mentoring over time.

Labels on this screen are in Portuguese; each appears below as shown, with a translation.

Step by step

  1. In the Mentorship app, open Check-ins.
  2. Click Novo Check-in (New check-in).
  3. Under Como foi sua semana? (How was your week?), pick one of the five options. Bom (good) is selected by default.
  4. If you like, write in Observações (opcional) (notes, optional): what moved forward, what got stuck, where you need help.
  5. Click Registrar Check-in (Log check-in). The screen confirms with "Check-in registrado!" (check-in logged).

The five mood options

OptionRating
Difícil (tough)1
Regular (so-so)2
Bom (good)3
Ótimo (great)4
Incrível (amazing)5

What gets recorded

Each check-in joins the list on the screen, newest first, with:

  • the date you logged it;
  • the mood you picked;
  • the Tarefas (tasks) line, showing how many of your tasks were done out of the total at that moment;
  • your notes, if you wrote any.

The task count is automatic: the Hub reads your mentoring tasks when you submit. To mark tasks as done, use the Tasks screen in the Management app; see the Management section.

If the list is empty, the screen says "Nenhum check-in registrado" (no check-ins yet) and invites you to log your first week.

Tips for a useful check-in

  • Pick a fixed day, like Friday, to build the habit.
  • In your notes, mention what got stuck: that's what helps your mentor adjust the plan most.
  • Check off the tasks you finished before submitting, so the count is right.

Frequently asked questions

What is the weekly mentoring check-in?

A quick log of your week: your mood on a 1 to 5 scale, notes on what moved forward or got stuck, and a count of finished tasks. Check-ins stay in a list for you and the team to follow.

Do I have to type how many tasks I did?

No. When you submit, the Hub counts how many of your tasks are done and how many exist in total, and saves that number with the check-in.

Are the notes required?

No. The Observações (notes) field is optional. It helps you share what moved forward that week and whether anything blocked you.

Where do I see past check-ins?

On the Check-ins screen itself, below the Novo Check-in button. The most recent appear first, with the date, mood, tasks and notes.
