How to create a video meeting link in LUME Hub

Creating a meeting in LUME Hub takes less than a minute and gives you a video room with its own link that opens in the browser, with nothing to install. You decide up front whether people wait for your approval and whether they need a code. For the big picture, see How LUME Hub meetings work.

The Meetings screen still shows Portuguese labels when the app is set to English, so each label below comes with a translation.

Step by step

1. Sign in to LUME Hub and open Minhas reuniões (My meetings) in the Vendas (Sales) app, or type "reuniões" in the search at the top.
2. Click Nova reunião (New meeting). If you don't have any meetings yet, a Criar reunião (Create meeting) button shows in the middle of the screen.
3. Under Nome da reunião (Meeting name), type a name with at least 3 characters, like "Proposal walkthrough".
4. Optionally, add an agenda under Descrição (opcional) (Description, optional). It shows on the card and on the join screen.
5. Pick the date and time under Início previsto (Planned start) and adjust Duração (minutos) (Length in minutes).
6. Choose your security settings: Sala de espera (Waiting room, on by default) and Código de acesso (Access code, off by default).
7. Click Criar reunião (Create meeting). You'll see a "meeting created" notice, and the meeting card appears at the top of the list.
8. On the card, click Copiar link (Copy link) and share it by text, email or wherever you like.

What each option does

With the access code on, the card shows Código de acesso (Access code) with 6 digits. Send the code along with the link to anyone who didn't get a personal invite.

The meeting card

Each meeting becomes a card with its name, status (Agendada Scheduled, Ao vivo Live, Encerrada Ended or Cancelada Canceled), time, length and full link. The buttons are:

• Entrar (Join): opens the room in a new tab. When you're signed in to your account, you're the host and skip the waiting room.
• Copiar link (Copy link): copies the room's address.
• Convidar (Invite): sends an email invite. See How to send a meeting invite by email.
• Encerrar (End): closes the meeting. The link stops accepting people.

Tips for a smooth start

• Join a few minutes early with Entrar (Join), so the meeting goes Ao vivo (Live) and you can test your camera and mic.
• Keep the Sala de espera (Waiting room) on for client calls, so no one joins without you seeing them.
