How to join a LUME Hub meeting with a link

To join a LUME Hub meeting with a link, open the link in your browser, click Ativar câmera e microfone (Turn on camera and mic) and allow access, type your name, enter the access code if asked, and click Entrar na reunião (Join meeting). With a waiting room, wait for the host to admit you. No account or app needed.
Joining a LUME Hub meeting doesn't require an account or any download: the link opens a join screen in your browser, where you test your camera and mic before anyone sees you. It works on computers and phones. If you're the organizer, start with How to create a video meeting link in LUME Hub.
The meeting screens still show Portuguese labels when the app is set to English, so each label below comes with a translation.
Step by step
- Open the meeting link (the address ends in /call/ followed by a code like abc-defg-hij). If you got an email invite, use the link in that email.
- On the join screen, check the meeting name, the Anfitrião (Host) and the time.
- Click Ativar câmera e microfone (Turn on camera and mic) and allow access when your browser asks. Pick a different camera or mic from the list if needed.
- Under Seu nome (Your name), type how you want to appear (2 to 60 characters).
- If an Código de acesso (Access code) field appears, type the 6-digit code the host sent you.
- Click Entrar na reunião (Join meeting). With your camera and mic off, the button says Entrar para ouvir (Join to listen).
- If the meeting has a waiting room, hang tight: the screen explains that the host needs to approve your entry and that you'll wait for a moment.
Inside the room
The meeting bar has buttons to turn your microphone on or off, turn your camera on or off, Compartilhar tela (Share screen), Chat da reunião (Meeting chat), Participantes (Participants) and Sair da reunião (Leave meeting). Under Mais opções (More options), you can open Câmera e microfone (Camera and mic) to switch devices, toggle between Destacar quem fala (Speaker view) and Mostrar grade (Grid view), choose Efeitos de fundo (Background effects: Sem efeito None, Desfoque Blur, or a ready-made background) and use Reconectar (Reconnect) if the video freezes.
If the host mutes you, the mic button shows that you were muted by the host.

Once you're in, messages like "Você foi removido da reunião pelo anfitrião." (The host removed you) and "A reunião foi encerrada pelo anfitrião." (The host ended the meeting) explain why the call ended.
If your camera or mic won't turn on

Do I need to install anything to join?
No. The meeting opens in your computer or phone browser. Just open the link, allow your camera and microphone, and join.
Can I join without a camera or microphone?
Yes. With both turned off, the button changes to Entrar para ouvir (Join to listen): you follow the meeting by listening and can turn your camera or mic on later, inside the room.
Where do I get the access code?
From the host. The code has 6 digits and is only asked of people using the general link. If you got an email invite, your personal link skips the code.
Why am I waiting to get in?
The meeting has a waiting room, so the host approves each person. Stay on the screen until they admit you. If they decline, you'll see a message that the host didn't approve your entry.
