How to send a meeting invite by email in LUME Hub
Updated
Quick answer
To send a meeting invite by email in LUME Hub, open Minhas reuniões (My meetings), click Convidar (Invite) on the meeting card, enter the emails one per line or separated by commas, and click Enviar convites (Send invites). Each guest gets a personal link that skips the access code. You can send up to 20 invites at a time.
Besides copying the link, LUME Hub can email your meeting invite. Each person gets a personal link that identifies them and skips the access code, and anyone with a LUME Hub account also gets a notification in their dashboard. Create the meeting first: see How to create a video meeting link in LUME Hub.
The Meetings screen still shows Portuguese labels when the app is set to English, so each label below comes with a translation.
Step by step
- Open Minhas reuniões (My meetings) in the Vendas (Sales) app.
- On the meeting card, click Convidar (Invite).
- In the Convidar para "meeting name" (Invite to) window, type the emails in the E-mails field: one per line, or separated by commas.
- Optionally, put the person's name before the email, like
Maria Silva <maria@company.com>. The email alone works too. - Click Enviar convites (Send invites).
- Check the notice that appears: it tells you how many invites went out, such as "3 de 3 convite(s) enviado(s)" (3 of 3 invites sent).
What your guests receive
- An email with a personal link: with the meeting name, who invited them, the description, planned start time, length and a link that's unique to that guest.
- A dashboard notification, if that email already has a LUME Hub account: a meeting invite with who invited them and the time.
The personal link skips the access code. The waiting room still applies: if it's on, you approve the guest when they arrive. To learn how, see How to use the waiting room and host controls.
Invite rules
| Rule | How it works |
|---|---|
| Limit | Up to 20 emails per send |
| Who can invite | Only the host, the person who created the meeting |
| Link address | Your brand's address if you use your own brand; otherwise lumehub.me |
| Module | The host's account must have Meetings available |
If some invites don't go out
When the notice says some emails couldn't receive the invite, the most common reason is a typo: check the address and resend to that person only. Another reason is that the address opted out of the platform's emails; in that case, share the link another way. If nothing goes out and you see an error about sending the invites, check your connection and try again.
Ask guests to also check their spam and promotions folders. If they still can't find it, use Copiar link (Copy link) and send the link in a chat: if the access code is on, include the code. For the guest's side, see How to join a meeting with a link.
Calendar events with calendar invitations are covered in the LAWD Calendar section.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can I invite at once?
Up to 20 emails per send. For more people, send in batches: each send emails every guest their own personal link.
Do guests need a LUME Hub account?
No. They open the link from the email in their browser and join. People who already have a LUME Hub account also get the invite as a notification in their dashboard.
Does a personal invite skip the waiting room?
No. The personal link skips the access code, but if the waiting room is on, the host still approves each person.
Can I invite someone without email?
Yes. Use Copiar link (Copy link) on the meeting card and send it by text or chat. If the meeting requires an access code, send the code too.
