Capi Coins: how to check your balance, monthly allowance and buy more

Updated

Quick answer

Capi Coins are the credits that pay for CAPI AI generations: 1 coin per design and half the pages for a carousel. Your plan gives a monthly allowance that expires if unused; purchased coins never expire. To check your balance and buy more, click the Capi Coins chip at the top of CAPI AI.

Capi Coins control CAPI AI usage. Each generation uses coins, your plan includes a monthly allowance and you can buy packs when you need more. This tutorial shows how to check your balance, buy coins and read your history.

How much does each generation cost?

WhatCost
Single design (feed, story, thumbnail, cover, banner)1 coin
Generating a single design again1 coin (it's a new design)
CarouselHalf the pages, rounded up (5 pages = 3 coins)
Regenerating a carousel pageFree
Writing carousel text with AIFree

If a generation fails, the coins come back automatically and your history shows Estorno (refund).

Step by step

  1. Open Content → CAPI AI. The chip at the top shows your total Capi Coins (it turns red at zero).
  2. Click the chip to open the Capi Coins wallet.
  3. Check the three numbers: Saldo (balance), Do plano (from your plan: coins per month and renewal date) and Compradas (purchased, never expire).
  4. Under Comprar moedas (buy coins), pick a pack. Each shows the amount, the price and the price per coin. Click Comprar (buy).
  5. Payment opens in Mercado Pago in a new tab, by Pix or card. Pay there.
  6. Come back to the Hub. Once the payment is approved, the coins are added automatically. Check under Extrato (history) and click Atualizar (refresh) if needed.

How does the monthly allowance work?

  • The allowance renews on your first use each month, Brasília time.
  • Unused plan coins expire; your history shows Venceram (expired).
  • The Hub spends plan coins first, then purchased coins.
  • Upgrading mid-month adds the difference; downgrading removes nothing.

How do I read the history?

Extrato lists your latest movements with these types: Cota do plano (plan allowance), Venceram (expired), Compra (purchase), Ajuste da LUME (LUME adjustment), Geração (generation) and Estorno (refund). A LUME adjustment appears when the LUME team gives or removes coins, for example as a bonus; those coins don't expire.

What happens when I run out?

The generate button is disabled and a notice says you are out of Capi Coins, with a Comprar moedas (buy coins) shortcut. Buy a pack or wait for your allowance to renew. If something went wrong during generation, see Why didn't CAPI AI generate my design?. For the big picture, read the CAPI AI guide.

Frequently asked questions

Do plan coins roll over to the next month?

No. Unused allowance coins expire, and your history shows an expired line. Purchased coins and coins given by LUME never expire.

Which coins are used first?

Plan coins. That way your purchased coins, which never expire, are saved for when the allowance runs out.

I paid and the coins didn't arrive. What now?

Coins are added when Mercado Pago approves the payment. Pix is usually fast; a card under review can take longer. In the wallet, an open payment notice shows what is pending, with a link to resume it.

Does changing plans change my allowance?

Upgrading mid-month adds the difference in allowance. Downgrading does not remove coins you already have.
