How to keep AI-generated designs on brand in CAPI AI
Updated
Quick answer
In LUME Hub's CAPI AI, your visual identity goes into every request: state your brand colors and style in the description, attach your logo tagged as Logo, add up to 2 reference designs for colors, typography and layout and, for carousels, set the color palette. There is no saved brand kit; recent briefs stay as shortcuts.
An AI design is only useful if it looks like your brand. In CAPI AI, visual identity isn't a saved profile: it goes into every request through four routes. This tutorial shows how to use each so your designs stay on brand.
Step by step
- Open Content → CAPI AI and pick the design format.
- Under Descreva a arte (describe the design), state your brand colors (ideally by name or code, like #1E3A8A) and style: minimal, sober, colorful, with or without photos.
- Under Imagens, click Adicionar logo ou foto (add logo or photo), upload your logo and tag it as Logo. Product shots or photos of you stay tagged as Foto (photo).
- Under Referências de estilo (style references), click Adicionar referência (add reference) and upload up to 2 designs that already follow your brand. The AI uses their colors, typography and layout as inspiration.
- For carousels, use the Paleta de cores (color palette, 2 to 5 colors) and, if you like, the optional style description.
- Generate the design. When a result hits the mark, reuse its description from Últimos briefings (recent briefs) for the next ones.
Why use style references?
Describing a style in words only goes so far. A reference design shows the typeface, weight, white space and color use all at once. Use designs your brand has already approved. The AI doesn't copy the reference's content, it only takes visual inspiration from it.
How does the logo go into the design?
Each attached image can be tagged Logo or Foto. In a single design, the images go into the piece. In a carousel, you tick which pages each image appears on. By default, the logo goes on every page and a photo on the first and last.
| Route | Where | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Colors and style in words | Describe the design | Free text |
| Logo and photos | Images that appear in the design | Up to 3, up to 5 MB each |
| Style references | Style references | Up to 2 |
| Palette | Carousel, set-up step | 2 to 5 colors |
Why did the design come out off-brand?
The usual causes are a short description, no reference, or a style request that contradicts the reference. Adjust the description, add a reference and generate again. Remember that generating a single design again uses 1 coin. The creation steps are in How to create an Instagram post with AI, and carousels in How to make an Instagram carousel with AI.
Frequently asked questions
Can I save my brand in CAPI AI?
There is no saved brand kit with logo, colors and fonts. Your brand goes into each request through the description, the attached logo, style references and the carousel palette.
How do I choose the font?
There is no font picker. Describe the typography in the description, such as bold modern lettering, or attach a style reference that uses your font.
Does the AI copy the reference design?
It shouldn't. Style references are inspiration for colors, typography and layout, without copying their content.
How do I reuse a description that worked?
Recent briefs appear as shortcuts above the description box. They are stored in this browser, not on your other devices.
