How to create your account and character in LUME Land

To create your character in LUME Land, open lumeland.me, click “Criar conta grátis” (Create free account), pick your island name, enter your email and password and accept the privacy policy. When you get in, the “Meu boneco” (My character) panel opens by itself: choose clothes, hair and body, then click “Pronto” (Done).
Creating a LUME Land account is free and takes a minute: you pick the name residents will see, enter an email and password and you're on the island. The first time, the "Meu boneco" (My character) panel opens by itself so you can choose your look before walking off. The game is in Portuguese, so labels appear here in quotes with their meaning. Step by step
- Open lumeland.me and click "▶ Criar conta grátis" (Create free account), or "Criar conta" (Create account) at the top of the page.
- Pick your name in "Seu nome na ilha" (Your name on the island): 3 to 16 characters, using letters, numbers, spaces, periods, hyphens or underscores. Residents will see this name.
- Enter your "E-mail" and "Senha" (Password), at least 8 characters.
- Check "Li e aceito a política de privacidade" (I have read and accept the privacy policy) and click "▶ CRIAR CONTA" (Create account).
- Customize your look in "Meu boneco". The panel opens by itself on your first visit. Go through the tabs "Conjuntos" (Outfits), "Cima" (Tops), "Baixo" (Bottoms), "Sapatos" (Shoes), "Acessórios" (Accessories), "Cabelo" (Hair) and "Corpo" (Body) and click the items. No ideas? "Aleatório" (Random) picks a look for you.
- Check the preview. The ◀ ▶ arrows turn your character, and the poses (standing, walking, waving, coffee, sitting) show how it looks.
- Click "Pronto" (Done). Your look is saved on the server and you see "Salvo ✓ todo mundo vê." (Saved, everyone sees it).
Arriving on the island
Newcomers arrive by ferry at the Porto (port) dock, with the greeting "Cheguei de balsa! Bem-vindo(a) a LUME Land ⛴️" (I came by ferry! Welcome to LUME Land). On later visits, the game takes you back to the last place you were.

Where do I appear after creating my account?
