What is LAWD Browser? LUME's web browser for Windows, Mac and Android

Updated

Quick answer

LAWD Browser is LUME's web browser for Windows, Mac and Android, with LAWD Assistant next to your tabs. It syncs tabs, history and bookmarks, keeps passwords in a vault encrypted on your device, and adds Social Selling and access to your computer from your phone. Downloading is free; using it comes with the LAWD subscription.

LAWD Browser is LUME's web browser. It does what a browser does (tabs, history, bookmarks) and adds what the LUME ecosystem brings: LAWD Assistant next to your tabs, an encrypted password vault, Social Selling for prospecting on Instagram and LinkedIn, and access to your computer from your phone. The same account works on every device.

Who is LAWD Browser for?

LAWD Browser is for LUME Hub users who want their workday in one place: browse, chat with LAWD, keep passwords safe and prospect clients without switching apps. It uses your LUME Account, the same one you use for LUME Hub, LAWD Mail and LUME Land.

If you don't have an account yet, start with LAWD Mail, which is free and becomes your LUME Account. See the LAWD Mail section.

  2. Subscribe to LAWD. R$ 39.90 a month, in your LUME Account, at lumehub.me.

The walkthrough for each system is in How to download and install LAWD Browser.

How the password vault keeps you safe

The LAWD Browser password vault is encrypted on the device itself, with a master password that never leaves it. Only the already-encrypted text goes to LUME Hub, and it exists so the vault shows up on your other devices. Keep your master password safe: it is the key to the vault.

This design means your saved logins travel with you across Windows, Mac and Android without LUME ever seeing them in readable form. If you are switching from another browser, it is a good moment to review which passwords you really use and keep them in the vault.
