LAWD Assistant is the AI assistant in LAWD, LUME's set of apps. Instead of opening screens and hunting for buttons, you type what you need in plain words and it answers with what is in your LUME Hub account. When the request is a task, it creates the task right there, during the conversation. The app screens are in Portuguese today, so this guide shows the Portuguese labels in quotes followed by their meaning.
What does LAWD Assistant do?
LAWD Assistant does three things, all through conversation:
- Talks with you. There are no special commands: ask the way you would ask a person.
- Answers about LUME Hub. It is connected to your LUME Hub account data, such as the tasks you have today.
- Creates tasks as you chat. Ask for a task, like "call Paulo tomorrow", and it is created.

Who is LAWD Assistant for?
LAWD Assistant is for LUME Hub users who want to handle their day by chatting: see what is on their plate, jot down a to-do without leaving what they are doing and stop forgetting tasks. It uses your LUME Account, the same one you use for LUME Hub, LAWD Mail and LUME Land.
If you don't have a LUME Account yet, the shortest path is to create a LAWD Mail address, which is free and becomes your LUME account. See the LAWD Mail section.
Where can you use LAWD Assistant?
LAWD works in two places, always with the same account:
- In the LAWD app on Windows, on Macs with Apple silicon and on Android. In the app, the assistant sits next to your LAWD Browser tabs.
- In your browser: at lawd.me, use "Abrir a LAWD no navegador" (Open LAWD in the browser) and sign in. If you are already in LAWD Mail, open the "Apps" menu, then "Também com a sua conta" (Also with your account), then "LAWD Assistente" (LAWD Assistant).
There is no LAWD app for iPhone yet. For now, use LAWD on your computer and on Android.
How much does it cost and what is the limit?
LAWD Assistant is not sold on its own: it comes with the LAWD subscription.

The tasks LAWD creates
The tasks LAWD Assistant creates belong to your LUME Hub account. So a task you ask for in the chat shows up with the others when you open the Hub, and the question "Which tasks do I have today?" takes into account everything already there. To organize tasks in the Hub, see the Management section.
