How to download and install LAWD Browser on Windows, Mac and Android

To install LAWD Browser, open lawd.me/baixar and pick your device. On Windows, run LAWD-Setup.exe; on Mac, open the downloaded file and LAWD installs itself in Applications; on Android, allow installing apps from this source. Then sign in with your LUME Account, with LAWD subscribed.
You download LAWD Browser from one place, lawd.me/baixar, for Windows, Mac and Android. The page shows the file for the device you are using first, with a "Para este computador" (For this computer) or "Para este celular" (For this phone) badge. Downloading is free; to use the app you sign in with your LUME Account, with LAWD subscribed. If you're not sure what the browser does yet, read What is LAWD Browser. Step by step
- Open lawd.me/baixar on the device where you'll install it.
- Click your system's button: "Baixar para Windows" (Download for Windows), "Baixar para Mac" (Download for Mac) or "Baixar para Android" (Download for Android).
- Install it following the instructions for your system, below.
- Open LAWD and sign in with your LUME Account email and password. Once you sign in on one device, the others already know who you are.
- Done. From now on the app updates itself.
On Windows
- Download LAWD-Setup.exe with "Baixar para Windows".
- Run the file: it installs the Chromium-engine browser and the LAWD core and creates the shortcut.
- If Windows shows an "app not recognized" warning, click "More info" and then "Run anyway" (in Portuguese Windows: "Mais informações" and "Executar assim mesmo"). The reason is explained in Windows protected your PC when installing LAWD.
On Mac
- Download with "Baixar para Mac".
- Open the downloaded file: LAWD installs itself in Applications.
- Open LAWD from Applications and sign in.
On Android
- Download with "Baixar para Android".
- Open the downloaded file. When Android asks, allow installing apps from this source.
- Open LAWD Browser and sign in.
What about iPhone?
LAWD Browser does not have an iPhone version yet. For now, use LAWD on your computer and on Android. LAWD Assistant also opens in a web browser: see the LAWD Assistant section.

Do I have to pay to download LAWD Browser?
No. Downloading is free. To use it, subscribe to LAWD in your LUME Account for R$ 39.90 (Brazilian reais) a month.
Does LAWD Browser work on Windows 7 or 32-bit Windows?
No. The installer is for 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
Does it work on Intel Macs?
The LAWD page lists Macs with Apple silicon on macOS 14 or newer.
Do I need to download it again for new versions?
No. The LAWD apps update themselves.
