How to find and download files in LUME Hub

Updated

Quick answer

To find and download a file in LUME Hub, open the Files app from the nine dots at the top, filter by type or source, type part of the name in the search box and click Baixar (Download). Abrir (Open) shows the file in a new tab, and Ver no app (View in app) opens its source screen.

The Files app gathers your account's designs, Instagram media, scripts, Idea Bank attachments and reports on one screen. With the filters and the search box, you can find a file in seconds and download it without remembering which app created it. New to the app? Start with What is the LUME Hub Files app.

The Files screen still shows Portuguese labels when the app is set to English. Each label below is written as it appears, followed by a translation.

Step by step

  1. Sign in to LUME Hub and click the nine dots at the top (the app launcher).
  2. Click Arquivos (Files). The list opens with every file, newest first.
  3. To narrow the list, click a type filter: Imagens (Images), Vídeos (Videos) or Documentos (Documents). Todos (All) shows everything again.
  4. If your account has files from more than one source, pick one in the Todas as origens (All sources) list, such as Artes da CAPI IA (CAPI AI designs) or Relatórios (Reports).
  5. Type part of the file name in the Buscar pelo nome (Search by name) box.
  6. On the file's card, click Baixar (Download) to save a copy to your device, or Abrir (Open) to view it in a new tab.
  7. To edit, delete or reuse the file, click Ver no app (View in app). It takes you to the screen where the file was created.

How to find a file faster

Combine the filters. Type, source and search all apply together: Documentos with the Relatórios source shows only report PDFs, and the search narrows it further. The counter above the list tells you how many files are left.

Use what each card shows to confirm you have the right file:

  • the thumbnail, for CAPI AI designs and Instagram media (other types show an icon);
  • the source, the date the file was added and its size.

Names are already cleaned up: the internal code at the start is removed, and unnamed reports and scripts show up as "Relatório" (Report) and "Roteiro" (Script).

Open, download or view in app

ButtonWhat it does
Abrir (Open)Shows the file in a new browser tab
Baixar (Download)Saves a copy to your downloads folder
Ver no app (View in app)Takes you to the source screen, such as CAPI AI, the Editorial calendar or reports

The link to a private file (scripts, Idea Bank and reports) is created the moment you click and works for 10 minutes. If you copied the address from the tab and it stopped working, go back to the Files app and click Abrir (Open) again.

If the file isn't in the list

Videos from the Vídeos (Videos) module live in the account's Google Drive and don't appear here. If you have that module, the bottom of the screen has a shortcut that opens Videos. Your personal LAWD Box files are kept separately too, in the LAWD Box section. For other causes, like a filter you forgot about or a file deleted in its source app, see Why a file is missing or won't open.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the file go after I click Download?

To your browser's downloads folder, like any other download. On a phone, it goes to the downloads folder or the device's files app.

What's the difference between Open and Download?

Abrir (Open) shows the file in a new browser tab without saving it to your device. Baixar (Download) saves a copy to your computer or phone.

Can I download several files at once?

No. The Files app downloads one file at a time, using the Baixar (Download) button on each card.

Does the search care about accents or capital letters?

No. The search box ignores accents and capitalization, so typing relatorio finds Relatório, for example.
